Order & Pickup Information

Amber Kneads Dough operates on a weekly pre-order basis to ensure every loaf is baked fresh and with care. Quantities are limited and may sell out.

All orders must be placed online through Hotplate. Pickup is Fridays only and must be completed during the time window selected at checkout. Please plan to arrive within your chosen window so pickups can run smoothly.

Pickup is from my home. The exact pickup address and instructions will be provided after order confirmation and again closer to pickup day.

At this time, I do not offer delivery or shipping.

Orders are pre-order only. Occasionally, a very limited number of extras may be available on pickup day from items not sold at pop-ups. Availability is not guaranteed.

Due to the nature of small-batch sourdough baking, all sales are final once orders close.

Frequently asked questions

How do pre-orders work?

Pre-orders open for a limited time and close at the posted deadline. Once orders close, I bake specifically for those orders only.

Where and when is pick-up?

Pick-up details (location, date, and time window) are listed on each order page. Please arrive during the scheduled time.

What ingredients do you use?

My sourdough is made with simple, quality ingredients: Organic flour, water, salt, and natural starter. No additives or preservatives.

Is everything baked fresh?

Yes. All items are baked fresh in small batches for your scheduled pick-up day.

Do you offer substitutions or custom orders?

At this time, I do not offer substitutions or custom changes beyond what is listed. Limited custom orders may be announced separately

Can I cancel or change my order?

Because items are baked to order, all sales are final once pre-orders close. If you have an issue, please reach out as soon as possible.

What if I miss my pick-up?

Please message me if you’re running late. Orders not picked up during the scheduled window may be forfeited unless arrangements are made in advance.

Do you slice the bread?

Loaves are sold unsliced to preserve freshness and structure.

How should I store my sourdough?

Store at room temperature in a paper bag or bread box for up to 3–4 days. For longer storage, slice and freeze.

Do you offer refunds?

Due to the nature of fresh baked goods, refunds are not offered. If there’s a quality issue, please contact me within 24 hours.

Amber Kneads Dough operates under a valid California Cottage Food Permit issued by Los Angeles County. All products are made in a home kitchen and are approved for sale under the California Cottage Food Act. Sales and deliveries are limited to within California only.
